Beach slippers for the reader

Knowing the exact dates of important Trinidad and Tobago festivals can make a big difference when planning your vacation.

What often makes this difficult, especially when planning a year or two in advance, is that so many of these festival dates are determined by lunar events.

To make your planning easier, here are dates for a 21-year period. You never know when you might have to plan a big family reunion, or perhaps schedule a wedding, and attending one of these festivals would be the icing on the proverbial cake...

Scheduling one of these Trinidad and Tobago festivals into your vacation plans can often make the difference between a great vacation and an extraordinary one.

Christmas shopping at the Falls, West Mall, Trinidad Perfect Scheduling

Dates permitting, it would be ideal if you are able schedule 2 major Trinidad and Tobago festivals into your holiday plans, like Trinidad Carnival and Phagwa together for example, or Hosay and Diwali.

In this way you really get the full multi-cultural experience that Trinidad offers. So look out for those years when important dates align. Also, while you may not have considered it, spending Christmas in Trinidad and Tobago can be eye opening. Who needs snow to enjoy the Holiday Season, Trinidadians don't, they have Parang, Ponchacrema, Pastelle and Poinsettia.
